Cashew Vegan Queso

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup raw cashews 

  • 1 cup hot water 

  • 1 large clove of garlic, peeled 

  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast 

  • 1 tbsp hot sauce 

  • 1/2 tbsp onion powder 

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice 

  • 3/4 tsp sea salt 

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric 

Instructions: 

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend for about 30 seconds, or until smooth paste forms. Transfer the blended dip into a large bowl and top with any garnishes you’d like. Keep leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 5 days. Gently reheat in the microwave, stirring frequently, until warmed throughout.
